Now you can show off your Flickr stream in a cool 3-D view. No coding needed, and it works as a link in Facebook, Wordpress, or even an iframe. No web site is needed, so you can email the link or post it to any blog, and you can use it on a shared media prim or in your profile in Second Life!
Instructions:
First, You need to know your Flickr ID. It’s always a number@NXX, and is not a name. So use http://idgettr.com/ to get a flickr ID from a photo page.
For example, my flickr URL is http://www.flickr.com/photos/bendersecondlife. Take the url of your photo stream and paste it into IDGetter. My User ID is 23870052@N02. Don't worry about this being secure or not, the User ID is public.
Now that you have the User ID for your account, paste it into this box and click View
Example:
http://metaverse.mitsi.com/tiltviewer?user=21688749@N00
You can also adjust the rows and columns with &r=rows and &c=columns, as in
http://metaverse.mitsi.com/tiltviewer?r=5&c=10&user=21688749@N00- r=5&c=10 will give you 5 rows and 10 columns.
If you download the code, you can make your own web page like this. If you want other people to use it, you can right click and save my preview file to your server and them drop it in place of the index.html file.
